What is the Allendale Elementary PTO?

We are a parent volunteer run community organization that raise funds for all three of the Allendale Public School Elementary buildings. We plan events and volunteer our time for our 1500+ students from preschool through 5th grade.

How do we raise money?

PTO fundraisers like Poppin’ Popcorn and the March reAding Challenge & Fundraiser are our greatest fundraisers. We also throw family-centric special events for the entire Allendale Community that charge a small fee. We have received additional funds from Amazon Smile, Family Fare Direct Your Dollars, Box Tops, Restaurant Nights and donations from generous community members. 

Where does the money go?

Every school year, we commit to sponsoring all elementary classroom teachers with $100 (averaging $8000 per year). In the 2021-2022 School Year, we were able to provide all of AECC students with first day student t-shirts, playground equipment for Evergreen, I’m a Falcon Reader t-shirts for all pre-5th grade students, Kona Ice for Field Days at AECC and EG, Field Trip Scholarships for any student in need, Staff Lounge Upgrade at EG, support for Mental Health Awareness Month, support for the Allendale Encouragement Team (AET) providing them with the funds for staff encouragement and Teacher Appreciation Week, PTO Popcorn Fridays, PBIS Glow Dance Parties, 5th grade Camp t-shirts, 4th Grade Field Trip on the DJ Angus, Oakwood Popcorn Machine… (this list goes on!!)
